The Ocean County Police Academy COVID-19 protocols are as follows: Each student must have their temperature taken each morning. There is a temperature station in the lobby as you enter. You will stand and wait for photo and temp to register. Students must remain masked while in the academy.
Advanced Crash Investigations (Formerly: Crash Investigation II)
The two week course is designed to develop the officer’s skills in technically preparing accident investigation data and collecting follow up data required by Prosecutors, Defense Attorney’s, Claim Adjusters, Fleet Supervisors, Accident Re-constructionists and Highway Safety Engineers. The course’s emphasis is on vehicle damage analysis and vehicle behavior in accidents. Some other topics include: results of accidents on the road, lamp filament analysis, tire damage analysis, measurement methods and specialized data gathering. Crash II will no doubt enhance the credibility of your on-scene accident investigators.
This course is limited to 30 students
Please note: There is a limit of 2 per department to attend this course, due to the 30 student maximum
