The officer’s official report is the document that memorializes his or her observations and actions. It can be used to help or hurt the officer depending on how it is written. This one day class is designed to enhance the officer’s official report. Every student will construct, review and critique reports after observing a scenario. Additionally, a number of writing samples and styles will be examined to illustrate what goes in and what stays out of a well written report.
Pencil, notepad and/or lap top computer should be brought to class.
Conducted by: Chief Thomas Preiser (Ret.)
