This one-day seminar will explore the issues that come up every day throughout NJ agencies with regard to the Family Medical Leave Act to include how to handle them in order to protect the rights of the employee as well as those of the agency. Topics include, but are not limited to, the basic requirements; any effects on subsequent policies, and what the department’s obligations are should an employee need time off for a family or medical situation.
